To je nevjerovatno brzo \u2013 pore\u0111enja radi, to je otprilike 0,08% brzine svjetlosti.<\/p>\n<p>Jedan puni obrt oko galakti\u010dkog centra traje oko 225\u2013250 miliona godina. Taj period se naziva &#8220;galakti\u010dka godina&#8221; ili &#8220;galakti\u010dki dan&#8221;. Tokom te vremenske skale, Sun\u010dev sistem je napravio otprilike 18\u201320 punih krugova od svog nastanka prije oko 4,6 milijardi godina.<\/p>\n<p>Nalazimo se otprilike 26.000\u201328.000 svetlosnih godina udaljeni od centra Mlije\u010dnog puta, u vanjskoj spiralnoj ruti zvanoj Orionova ruka.
