U ko\u017eici crvenog gro\u017e\u0111a koncentrisani su brojni polifenoli (prije svega resveratrol), koji smanjuju potro\u0161nju energije, nakupljanje masti u jetri, \u0161ec\u0301er u krvi, pa \u010dak i krvni pritisak. \u0160to se ti\u010de kalorija gro\u017e\u0111a, to je oko 60 na 100 grama, tako da je niskokalori\u010dno voc\u0301e.
